Temple Beth El nurtures and engenders progressive thinking as well as traditional values to create an environment that is both comfortable and stimulating for its congregation. We take great pride in our diversity, and inclusiveness. Our doors are always open - not only to our members, but to any and all people interested in Judaism.
Who are we? We are Reform Congregation, a member of URJ (the Union of Reform Judaism). We are diverse in age, ethnic background, and financial status. We have a large family of Jews by Choice and interfaith families. We pride ourselves on being inclusive. We are a Jewish community building a stronger Jewish community, one in which we can grow spiritually, intellectually and lovingly.
Why are we here? We come to Temple Beth El to pray, to learn, to socialize and to be a part of a living Jewish community. We are here to remember and cherish our loved ones – both living and deceased. We are here to ensure that Judaism endures - L'Dor V'Dor – From Generation to Generation.
When do we join together? We meet to observe Shabbat each Friday evening (check calendar for specifics) and many Saturday mornings. We meet on all Jewish holidays and festivals. We have a wide array of social, spiritual and community service events for all ages.
