Youth group is more than just eating pizza and running around after Hebrew school. Youth group is where friendships are made for the rest of one’s life. As some who grew up going to youth group I know the importance of how much youth group means to the children that attend the monthly meetings. Youth group is not just a place where the kids can go and hang out; it is a place that they can call their own.

I attended youth group my entire young adult life, starting from 4th grade and enjoying every moment of it until the 12th grade. Youth group is where I meet individuals who are still a very big part of my life today. Youth group taught me about being Jewish, but it also taught me about the type of person that I wanted to become as I continued grow. As I still continue to grow, I am still connected to youth group now as a youth group leader which is one of the things that I look forward to all summer.

This year’s youth group is going to be great! I am looking forward to meeting new children that will be attending Club 54 for the first time, and I am looking forward to seeing the children that attended last year.

Temple Beth El Senior Youth Group

We use the national NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) program that runs very much like a High School Student Government by your very own elected participants.

This is your club, and a great way to make friends and get involved!

We working as a group to plan field trips for local activities and NFTY ran events in the tri-state area, to develop new and exciting programs, and connect with other local Reform teens.

Join with your friends, and make new ones!
